Over a long period of time, our company has been persisted in the development and manufacture of hi-tech products. Our company has cooperated with University of Science and Technology Beijing and other scientific research institutions, and has formed an association of enterprises, universities and research units; thus the capability of technical development of the company is further strengthened. In 1993 and 1995, our company respectively fulfilled the assembly and development of the new State-level products of "blast-furnace tuyeres of pure-copper plate" and "safety control devices of oxygen-coal lances". In the year of 2000, our company undertook the task of "research, manufacture and application of copper staves"- a State-level priority project of technological innovation assigned by the State Economy and Trade Commission, and remarkably fulfilled this research task and was appraised and accepted by the State in January, 2005. According to the evaluation, this research project has reached international level and it has obtained the first prize of State Metallurgical Science and Technology.
Guided by the market need, Shantou Huaxing Metallurgical Spare-parts Plant Co., Ltd. emphasizes continuous innovation as the source of the consistent development. In recent years, we have been awarded 14 State patents, developed several products to fill up the blank both of the province and of the State. The thermal state laboratory is able to carry out 1:1 heat simulation test for copper staves of blast furnace. It has solved technological breakthroughs of copper staves through a series of heat simulation tests. The acquired complete data have provided a valuable scientific basis to optimize the design of copper staves.
This laboratory of long-distance conveyance of PCI is the largest size, the most complete set of inspection means, the most advanced assembly level, fully automatic controlled laboratory in China. It is able to simulate PCI working conditions of blast furnace and provides users reasonable technical parameters of long-distance dense-phase conveyance and PCI dense-phase. And in this way, this laboratory has a great significance for the advancement of blast furnace PCI level and for achieving more economic benefits.

The heat calculations indicate that the cooling intensity is basically matched in case copper stave is adopted in the lower shaft and steel stave is applied in the mid-shaft. Therefore, we have developed a kind of steel-plate stave which is processed through deep drilling of steel plate and welding water pipes . We have already delivered such staves to Czech OSTHO-4 furnace.
